Board Members

Officer Hughes has been employed with the Coronado Police Department since 2016. Officer Hughes is currently assigned to the Traffic Unit as a Motorcycle Officer. Additionally, Officer Hughes serves as a Field Training Officer and Defensive Tactics Instructor. Prior to joining the Coronado Police Department, Officer Hughes was employed by the Anne Arundel County Police Department for 7 years and served in various assignments including detective assigned to the Major Crimes Section of the Criminal Investigation Division. Officer Hughes has served as the Coronado Police Officers Association President since 2017.

Corporal Flores joined the Coronado Police Department in 2012 from the California City Police Department. Corporal Flores is currently assigned to the Traffic Unit as a Motorcycle Officer. Corporal Flores is the administrator for Coronado Police Department’s Ride to Live Motorcycle Safety Program. Corporal Flores has 8 years of investigative experience from California City and Coronado. Corporal Flores held previous positions within the California City Police union as president and board member at large. He has been involved in the Coronado Police Officers Association since his arrival at the Coronado Police Department and serves as Vice President.

Officer Adams has been with the Coronado Police Department since November 2018. Officer Adams is a Field Training Officer and Cadet Advisor. Prior to Coronado, she spent 12 years working with the National City Police Department in a variety of assignments. Officer Adams brings a wealth of experience regarding the Explorer/Cadet programs for the County of San Diego. She was also actively involved in her prior Police Officers Association.

Officer Beebe joined the Coronado Police Department in 2015 from the Turlock Police Department. Officer Beebe previously served as a detective for the Coronado Police Department. Officer Beebe served in several assignments within the Turlock Police Department for over 8 years and was actively involved in the union. Detective Beebe has been involved with Coronado Police Officers Association since 2015 and serves as union Treasurer.
